OUR MISSION

The mission of Church On Purpose is to develop disciples of Jesus Christ who understand their faith and live it, understand their purpose and pursue it, and understand their vision and build it.

At Church On Purpose, our goal is to be the kind of community Paul talks about in Romans 12:4-6…

“In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t.” (MSG)

OUR CORE VALUES

PURPOSE - Everything in creation has a purpose; a reason for existing. Every person living on Earth has a unique contribution to make to this world that only they can make. We’re here to help you figure that out!

DISCIPLESHIP - We learn and we grow with the intent to intentionally help others do the same. By building meaningful relationships, we all share the responsibility for helping one another learn and grow as citizens who live the most effective lives possible.

INTEGRITY - We are consistently consistent. Our thoughts, words, and deeds are in harmony with each other and with God.

COMMUNITY - We are born into God’s family. As individuals, we need and support each other. As a church, we never forget that we are a part of a larger community and partner purposefully for the betterment of everyone in our immediate vicinity.

LOVE - Love is part of God’s nature. He has made it part of ours, so seeking the best for others even when it means personal sacrifice is just who we are and what we do.

RESPONSIBILITY - We take ownership of our actions and cast away excuses.

SERVICE - We put others ahead of ourselves and seek to use our gifts to make the lives of others better.

WISDOM - We prayerfully and strategically apply the information that God has given us.

GROWTH - Refusing to settle for less than our best, we commit to becoming better versions of ourselves on a daily basis.

FAITH - We trust in God because He knows what’s best.
